Another problem. My M15 stops reading MQA. the file is 192khz (as shown on the UAPP) but on the notification, it only shows 48khz (max). Switching to the stock fiio app, also shows 48khz. Please help @FiiO

Even this version does not work well on the M9

The worst experience trying it was the really long time to load the play queue screen going from teh Now Playing screen. It can take 10 seconds for it to load, likely because you have it showing albumart for all the tracks. This is completely unnecessary on such a small screen. When in the Queue when you tap on the track target it doesn't register and plays the track directly underneath it. Frustratingly it still does not sort tracks in the correct order.

The track number, and time display fonts are way to small to read and you made the fonts way to faint to read.

Scrolling through tracks is very sluggish again because it has to load album art for each track.

You really need to come out with a version specifically for the M9/M7/M6 that works better with their limited hardware. I am sure the app runs much better on the M11 and M15 with the larger screens and much more powerful hardware.

On such a small screen the tiny albumart beside each track is pointless. Remove this and it will provide more room for the track names, allow faster scrolling and hopefully load the Play Queue screen faster.

I have uninstalled the Fiio Music App and gone back to using Pulsar. You should really look at apps like Pulsar that really work well on the M9/M7/M6's small screen and limited hardware.

Still some interface bugs.

I've told you in another thread about seeing some Chinese characters in the interface. Well - the 3 vertical dots in the right corner when you are in the Local Music window - when you click on it it shows 3 lines with Chinese characters ( instead of "Sort" options ).
It happens when in settings the language is set to "Follow System". Everything is in English, but that.
If I select English, all is good.

And of course, still no M5 support added...

Dear user,

The M9 runs on deeply customized system. The embedded FiiO Music app in M9 is customized for it. But the Android FiiO Music APP is used for Android mobile devices instead.

Best regards

Hi.

For M5 - if you go to Lyrics- if there are no lyrics there is something in chinese.
For the app I don't remember exactly where - in a submenu - there were 3 options in chinese. I've searched now, but I don't find where I saw them. I saw them by accident about a month ago. If I found them again I will return with the info.

Dear user,

We failed to find the page you mentioned. And you told us before that you could not find the Chinese word as well. If you could find it now, you could show us via picture. And if you mean FiiO Link, it may not be added for the M5.

Best regards

Dear user,

In the MQA SPDIF option, are you selecting Decoded MQA instead of Bitstream?

Best regards

Yes, I mean FiiO Link. That would be bad if you don't add it, I don't intend to buy also a BTR device. And this is something possible if your engineers want.
The Chinese characters in M5 were fixed with last firmware.

For the FiiO App see below - sorry for quality - the phone in the pic makes better pics, but it's running your app.
As I said, that happens when language is set to "Follow System"
I don't know if being a Huawei phone has something to do.
Untitled-1.jpg

Phone language is different from English and FiiO App doesn't have it ( Romanian ). By default is installed with Follow System - it display in English, except those lines.
