Si Fiio Link isn't a feature that allow to remote control the dap from a smartphone.

It doesn't look like this feature is in the iOS app yet. There is an option for "Fiio BT control" but I can't get it to function even with my phone properly connected via BT.

Online upgrade 1.0.3. failed with error message "link server failed, please keep the network open"... WiFi is on, update failed also after device-reboot!

In addition, pls check your server, cause the DL performance is very often very slow - offline DL currently not possible! Server is not responding.....

A offline DL was only possible with JDownloader! A DL with browser was not possible - the online update failed again with the error message see above

I did the same with my KZ ZSA inEars and they sound astonishingly good with a balanced cable. So I am waiting for a pair of Massdrop X Noble X and then get a balanced cable for them too.

I've just ordered the KZ ZSA direct from China as you seem to appreciate them. Very good value indeed. If they are up to it I will get a balanced cable for them too.

I've noticed the "Recently Added" playlist doesn't really update itself after owning this product for a month or so...is there a fix for this, or is it there something I'm doing wrong to affect it? @FiiO @JamesFiiO

How big are your micro gaps Sven? And what else is engaged? Currently on 1.03. Playing Floyd's "The Wall". 16/44.1 FLAC.

No gaps - even micro. Just wondering if its a setting?

What do you mean?
ALL the affected files are FLAC encoded files and working fine @Squeezboxes, Sony Walkman etc. pp! Please read my comments and don't ask questions like these!
The gapless playback is not correctly working @M9 for normal encoded FLAC files (16 Bit, 44,1KHz, stereo channel)!

The M7 has micro gaps in the tracks, but the gapless playback is working in near all cases. The M9 is better in the micro gaps, but the gapless playback is not working! This is NOT file related!

You have to check the "gapless playback" algorithm resp the pre-caching code, cause the gaps have the same "second" such the normal MP3's (but for MP3 it's normal but not for FLAC (FLAC is WITHOUT gap).

I hope the issues gone after a whole data base reset and new scan.... the gaps are still existing...
The first two, free changes are okay and then the next gap occurs....
