Dear friend,

What's the firmware version of your M5?
And you could add the files in M5 to foobar2000 first. Then save the playlist to the root directory of the M5 in m3u format.
Can you get the playlist in the M5 work at that time?

Best regards

On firmware 1.3.2. I added the files in the M5 to foobar, and saved it to the root of the SD card. I keep on getting 'File not found'. The path it creates is just Music\Artist\Album\Song.mp3. Is there nothing before that like external_sd\ or anything like that.

With the new firmware i have experienced a few random restarts and some tracks not start to play with
the first play attempt.
Dear friend,

If the issue happens again, please restart the M5 and make sure you have inserted the SD card.
Enter settings-system settings-about device page, and quick click the version option until 'copy log done' message is showing up.

Then connect your M5 to the computer in storage mode and send the 'm5log' folder to us for checking.

Best regards

Dear friend,

No, nothing before that. I tested via the same path you mentioned and it works.

Best regards

I would like to use the M5 as USB DAC , is there a USB c to USB c cable that will only handle data and not use the phone to charge the M5?

Dear friend,

At present, when using the FiiO lc-tc1, you may try to connect the M5 to the type c mobile phone as the USB DAC. We will also try to add the charge off option via firmware update in the future.

Best regards

Is it possible to manage M5 from a smartphone using Fiio Music by Bluetooth? Just like HibyLink.
