Hey all, long time lurker finally making my first post.

Just got the M15, my second Fiio device. I have to say Fiio had came a long way from The first Fiio X5 1st gen I owned!

Have two questions hoping someone can help me with:
1. Is there any way to remap the next track / previous track button? I would have prefer the upper button to be next, it will make skipping songs much easier when the M15 is in my pocket.
2. With the new Sample rate display on top right of the screen, I see that it supports the Fiio native app. Is it possible to have it work with other apps such as MOOV?

Thanks!!!

Has anyone with the M15 also heard the Sony TA-ZH1ES desktop amp/dac and can compare the two? I'm on the fence between the two. The Sony has 1200mw @32 ohms and the M15 has 800mw. Thanks.

If you're comparing the amp dac based on the output for mw, for IEM @ 32ohms... idk I rarely get past my volume at 60 on low gain and this is PAINFULLY loud.
Are you asking for sound quality difference?

Yes, please, overall sound quality between the two. Soundstage, separation, bass/treble, tone, sound signature.. I EQ my TA-Zh1es, and with local files, it sounds pretty amazing. Can definitely manipulate how I'm feeling. I'm reading that the M15 is also pretty powerful, and sounds pretty awesome as well. I'm using two different pairs of iems. the Sony IER-Z1R and the Shure SE846. I realize that the M15 isn't supposed to show it's full potential with iems, as compared to headphones, but the IER-Z1Rs are a little special, and may be the exception in that case.

Hello,
You can't remap next and previous button and I hope it will be possible in a future update 😊
Concerning the sample rate display, it's working with Deezer app and UAPP but I don't know with others music apps.

Over - ear volume setting.

What's behind this upcoming question? Too embarrassed to state, so let's just get to the query...

What volume setting on your M15 do you have for your over - ear headphones in order to get a 'full and detailed' sound/response/representation?
Curious.

Don’t forget that M15 has fantastic power for high impedance “At 300Ω the M15 is still very impressive at 280mW using its over-ear headphone mode. That is a little higher than the DX220 MAX’s calculated 235mW into 300Ω balanced capability” (headfonics.com Dx220max review).

*edit* I use low gain and headphone mode for pretty much everything, don’t think I’ve gone over 65 with balanced with Diana Phi (I think my hardest to drive)
