No updates about tidal running full mqa on this yet huh? UAPP does it for me but I thoroughly hate the UI of it.
Should we write to Jay-Z?

The UAPP dev is always open to comments about his app, including the UI. I would encourage you to share your views with him. His response could surprise you :dt880smile:

Don’t forget that M15 has fantastic power for high impedance “At 300Ω the M15 is still very impressive at 280mW using its over-ear headphone mode.”
On paper, in reality this is just marketing, aka lies. LCD2f impedance is 50ohms, hifiman re2000 60ohms and with high gain on balanced 4.4mm socket i need to turn up the volume towards 70 and even more for audeze. So 300 ohms headphones might get loud enough but pretty sure they would sound anemic.

You have headphone mode engaged? Based on a power calculator the Diana Phi takes way more power than the LCD2, I had the LCDX but sold it.

I guess you just like your music much louder than me, I normally listen at 70-85bd

Then buy one and test it side by side with a desktop DAC amp, for example an ifi micro black label, costs 3 times less.
Good point but its only twice the price (loosely use the term 'only')
£600 v £1200

My nearly three month old M15 won't get beyond the blue fiio screen. I have tried holding the power button for a minute, but it has no effect. Does anyone know if there is any way out of this, since there isn't a reset pinhole? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reset directions are which I got from fiio before are: press both power button and the "next song"button for ten seconds enter Android recovery when it's off.

Press the power button to work as "OK".

Tried the power and next button, but it didn't work. So I tried various combinations and power and play for about ten seconds did the trick. Thank you for your help, I was beginning to think I might have to let the battery drain. Glad I don't have to send it back, because I really like the M15. Thanks again.

Why'd you sell the LCD-X?

Concerning the iFi micro IDSD that costs 3x less, it also sounds 3x inferior to M15. Did an extensive A/B with the more "refined" Black Label version. 50% of M15 SQ. I'm talking pure sound quality only. It's a pretty damn good 600€ DAC, but thats it. Still pretty curious to see a better portable DAC from iFi.
