Hi everyone, I have a Fiio M11 Plus LTD and it turned off by itself when playing music. Now it would not turn on, when I tried to turn it on it only showed the Fiio logo briefly and would not boot into the OS, has anyone experienced it and is it a battery issue? If so I would buy a battery to replace it, thanks in advance.
Dear friend,

Hi, please try whether the method in this FAQ helps: https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/518429.html
If not, please contact support@fiio.com with the receipt attached.

Best regards

I managed to fix it, the connection between the battery and the board is loose, I reconnected it and it seems fine now, it has became loose somehow.
Did you open the back? if so how?

I used heat gun and heat up the adhesive and removed the backplate with suction cups and plastic prying clips. I have experience fixing phones so this is not too hard for me but if you are not comfortable doing it I think it is better to find a phone repair store to remove the back for you.

Fiio has a teardown video on their youtube channel as well which is extremely helpful.

Quick question, if I want to use the SPDIF out on the M11 plus LTD, what type of cable do I need? I want to connect the M11 to a DAC with coax input, should I get a 3.5 TRRS to coax cable?

I wonder if the upcoming Android 12 update will include global PEQ or any other new functions of the M23 (and M11S)? It's been a long time without a firmware update.

I listen to my music on apple music on fiio m23. But the fiio equalizer application does not work properly in apple music. It works smoothly on spotify and youtube music. I also wrote to fiio support and did not receive a response. Is there anyone else having this problem?

Welp I just had my first casualty from a lack of updates.

Been using Syncthing to keep my music sync'd between my phone and my M11 Plus ESS. At some point the permissions to write got changed so now the app needs android 11 to write to sd cards and the DAP is stuck on Android 10 :frowning2: Only other solution is to root the DAP but I can't find anything on it.

Dunno what to do at this point, I rather not pay Google for storage so I can use that to sync my music...

Is this a confirmed update or not? It's been so long since we've had an update.

FiiO has stated that once Android 12 is stabilized starting with M17 and M23 and (presuming here) individually stabilized in each of their other A12 candidates (M11S, M15S, M11 Plus ESS and LTD, may be more?...,they will release as a firmware update. Second half of 2024 was the projected time frame.
