I bought a 3D printed stand.
The silicon cover seems to be better than the original one, in which the buttons are pressed less well and it seems that the DAP will fall out through the flap that is not blocked by anything.
The rotated DAP image stands steady - but I'm still thinking about buying this FiiO DK3, cooling stand with fan from the M17 model.
Due to a different port layout than in the M17, the DK 3 stand must be adapted to the M11 PLUS LTD, or to turn the DAP too?

@FiiO

Global Setting-->Volume Touch Panel Settings-->Auto-lock after inactivity

When you choose this it says "The volume touch panel will be automatically locked after a period of inactivity, in order to prevent misoperation. To unlock, please double tap on the touch panel."

By my testing this "period" is only 2 seconds (or slightly less), which strikes me as too short. Can you add in an option for the user to say how long?

***Note that the touch panel is not locked....just the slide down the panel is. You can still use the volume up and down (+-) buttons to change the volume, which is good!

Perhaps you should say:

"The volume touch panel slide operations will be automatically locked after a period of inactivity, in order to prevent misoperation. To unlock, please double tap on the touch panel."

How to check the APP version of FiiO Music app:
From settings-About-VersionX.X.X

How to update the FiiO Music app in players:
Set the device to storage mode and connect to computer, drag the downloaded FiiO Music (.apk) to the device. Then disconnect the connection and enter ES file explorer/file manager, find the FiiO Music app in internal storage/sd card and click install.
Brilliant list of fixes..
SO good “you don’t have to tell me twice”....

Oh hang on - maybe you DO have to tell me twice..

When the improvements are so varied, and certainly from the lists of ‘priority do (fix these!!)’,.. I am happy to read about these tabled changes.
Great changelog too. (not just ‘security updates and improvements’ like 90% of the market seem to throw about..)
Cheers Team FiiO

I've got the DK3 and should receive my M11 Plus (not ltd) soon, so can post if it fits nicely

The DK3 has a large cut out at the bottom which should allow for access to all the ports (the M9 falls through!!!).

Anyone having issues getting your Win 10 PC to see your M11+LTD? I plug mine in and it shows up in the "devices and printers" list as unspecified. I cannot see it on my drive tree. Under device manager, I do not see anything under "Portable Devices". I do see something that pops up as "Acer Composite ADB Interface". I must have a driver that is conflicting our something.

Any ideas?

to "Amber Rain" - that's good news.thx.
I have the Ltd version - FIIO could make a plastic adapter - overlay on DK3 for other m11 models.... to make it even more stable and sold separately
It really doesn't need an adapter...It rests nicely on the upper rubber feet, but doesn't touch the bottom ones, presumably because the M17 is thicker.

All of the ports are accessible on the DK3 cut out, I think you'd struggle to find a better fitting dock.

I received my new M11 Plus yesterday. I'm very impressed with the hardware, good neutral audio as I hoped. But, there is a big (for me) problem: FiiO Music doesn't support .opus files. Most of my library is FLAC, but I have a number of Opus files as well, and they don't show up in the FiiO music app. They are supported in base android, so I can play them through the google file manager, but I don't want to deal with multiple applications on the DAP.

@FiiO could you please add Opus file format support? It's open, free and already supported in android so it should not be too hard.

Another much smaller issue is that if I enable resume (either resume last position or resume last song, doesn't matter), it always starts playing next time I launch the app. I would prefer it to remember the play/paused state along with file and position.

Hi,
Anyone knows where I could find a Fiio RM1 remote ?

I've just ordered the ESS M11 Plus, to replace my M17.
Which leather case should I buy ?

I only see the Plus Ltd leather case on AE, is it the same one ?

The problem persists, it has not been solved. @FiiO did not give any worthwhile recommendations on how to fix this problem. Only recommended downgrade to firmware 1.0.2. Phantom pressing is often intensified when heated player. I noticed that this happens when you listen to music and use an Internet browser at the same time, or charge the player and surf the Internet at the same time. It looks like phantom pressing occurs when the touchscreen overheats.
I think it is
1. the mistake of the designers of M11+ ltd, who could not implement the correct heat dissipation of the heating of the new processor.
2. the mistake of software developers who could not implement the correct operation of the kernel in different scenarios, and prevent the player overheating.
The problem really exists, and @FiiO is in no hurry to solve it, although such messages are quite common.
Dear friend,

I have PM you a firmware, please update it for your M11PlusLTD to check whether the issue remains. We apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime!

Best regards

I think rotating the screen may be more suitable when using the M11Plus with the DK3. The DK3 will be available at about next month.

Dear friend,

Please try via another usb cable and port. Does the issue still remain?

Thanks for the feedback. We will report to the engineer for assessing about that. And you could install the third party app which supports this format in the player for help as well.
