Hey guys! Might be a little late to the party here, but does anyone know about a workaround to make Roon work at all?

I have the device, everything works pretty much fine. I can enable the device in Roon Audio settings, but when I go to play anything, I get "Failed to open audio device".

Ok, i know this isnt the question. Just reminded that It makes me a bit upset with Roon Labs everything it plays on any of my Android DAPs, my FiiOs [M6 or X7] and Pioneer 100r, is resampled to 48KHz. So I've swore off using Roon on my DAPs and just use mSDs. Wish they'd license eXtream SD's hi-rez driver [USB Audio Player Pro's driver].

@FiiO Am I reading this right - compared to the m11 pro there’s a newer fpga and upgraded clock for an overall better jitter reduction? This should result in improved SQ.. I’m surprised Fiio hasn’t really promoted these aspects as much, unless I’m wrong...

I also would love to know if the usb dac mode lag has been improved like the m15- I can’t really game or make music with the m11 Pro unfortunately

According to the feedback from engineer, the USB DAC delay is very small in this players, within 100ms.

I was checking out the changelogs for the firmware updates on the M11 and M11 Pro and I have two questions:

1. How advanced would you say the current (original?) M11 Plus firmware is in comparison to the previous M11s?
It seems they have some features we don't have in this first iteration of the Plus.

2. When do you think you will be releasing the first firmware update + how often do you usually release them?

Have you got a M11 Plus LTD now? If yes, the latest firmware for it is now FW1.0.1.

There will be a new firmware for M11 Plus LTD at about this month. We could not tell how often we will release new firmware for each products. But we will release the new firmware to add some new features and fix some problem when it is stable.
