are 4.4/3.5 plugs interchangeable? (modular/switchable)
what silver cable effect on subbass/bass frequencies?
Dear friend,

The 4.4mm and 3.5mm plug is not changeable. If you would like the cable which support chageable plug, you could consider our LC-RE instead.

Significantly more details are resolved and for a purer audio experience compared to silver-plated copper and even other typical pure silver cables.

Best regards

This is your comercial advertising, i doubt there is SIGNIFICANTLY more detail. If any.
Have you considered releasing straight cables? Not only the ones we have to wear behind the ear. The latter are uncomfortable.
Dear friend,

Thanks for your kind feedback. We will report you suggestion to the product manager and ask them to assess in the later product.

Best regards

Pairing with a Solaris 2020 and LGV30 - think the pure silver may have slightly more detail/resolution than the fine Fiio stock FH7 cable but the latter has a wider soundstage on this set up and feels a warmer and a tad more natural.

Hello,
sorry to bring up again this discussion, but I'm looking for a cable for my IEM and I'm interested in the FiiO LS but got a little confused about the core material specifications.
So here https://fiio.com/productinfo/311922.html in the beginning the cable is declared using Sterling Silver, which is silver with a purity 92.5%, i.e. silver 925, the one used in jewelry. But then when I go in the description of the cable it seems the LS is actually using a different type of silver, with an higher purity than Sterling Silver.
FiiO, can you please shed some light?

Dear friend,
'Compared to silver and 925 jewelry silver, the monocrystalline pure silver used in FiiO's earphone cable is of higher silver purity and thus has better conductivity.'
So the LS-D cable is not using the silver 925 material you mentioned.
The LS-D series is using same material as the LC-D series. We will update the page you mentioned.

Best regards

@FiiO how does the LC-4.4D cable compare to the FD3 PRO cable? Better? Same?

Thank you

Dear friend,
If you mean the material for the cable only, the LC-4.4D cable is a High-Purity monocrystalline Silver Litz Earphone Cable. So theoretically it is better than the cable for FD3 pro. The cable for FD3 pro is an 8-stranded 152-core Litz braided high-purity monocrystalline silver-plated copper cable with interchangeable 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.4mm audio plugs. This cable is very nice one as well which could be used in both standard and balanced headphone port.
Best regards

I have 3rd party 4.4mm adapters for 3.5mm and 2.5mm. Would that make the LC cable definitively "better in every way" theoretically than the Pro cable?
