I just picked up the FiiO KA5 to use with my iPhone. I understand the app does not work with iOS, so I am navigating the settings on the unit itself. I want to better understand the 5 different filter settings:

1. FAST-LL
2. FAST-PC
3. SLOW-LL
4. SLOW-PC
5. NONOS

I feel like the "slow" settings help clip brightness in some recordings, which is nice. But I am only 2 weeks into this so I dont know anything yet.

Can someone help me understand when to best use each filter?

Hi,

From what I managed to find, LL stands for low latency (minimum phase) and PC is phase compensated (linear phase). Rest you can find in the article posted above, I suggest you start from F2.
