So out of nowhere, my K9 Pro ESS has stopped working completely.

I've tried everything from switching it on and off, holding input for 10 seconds, unplugging and replugging the power cord, and swapping the fuse out.

Does anyone know how to proceed with this? Are there any fixes that I haven't tried yet? For the record, it was working perfectly fine before this.

Unplug it for a few minutes, if that doesn’t work contact Fiio for warranty.

From among the budget devices, you can look at Topping dx3+ and Fiio K7.
Their parameters are already quite enough to provide high-quality sound with that headphones.

And, of course, Fiio K9 Pro.


With the Fiio K5 Pro, I listened to the Sennheiser HD 650 headphones with a volume level of about 70 percent of the maximum.
The headphones sounded loud enough, but not at all with the sound quality that they can provide.

Thanks for your answer. I would be very surprised if the Dx3+ or the Fiio K7 gives Amanda better quality than the D30 Pro and the A30 Pro, but I will test them If I have the opportunity

I've unplugged it overnight and tried to plug it in today as well to no avail. The switch on the panel is indeed switched on, and I don't think there was another power cord included, unless you mean to check the other end, in which I have.

I'll contact my seller in the meantime, while looking for new things to try and fix the K9 Pro with.

The power cable is just a standard computer cable, it’s rare for those to fail, but it’s worth a shot.

I'm not getting the connection notification when I try and no sound plays...Surprise, surprise my M11+ connects with no problem.

We are sorry that we do not have the Sony Daps you mentioned for test currently. Does the problem happen in both the usb b and C port in the K9Pro ESS?

Yes, just checked, it also happened with the USB B port. I am using FiiO cables...
