@FiiO

First batch, lack of specs, no review, likely overpriced, and under the same price tag of known good headphones.

Well, it's a no for your FT3.
What if it's actually really good for the asking price?

An unbiased reviewer will tells us if it is any good.

At the moment, it's just a blind buy at 300 bucks.

I hope it is good.

Nah. They’ll just compare it to some other headphone (in a similar price range) that they like and you still won’t know if you would like it or not.

When I get it, I'll poorly compare it to headphones in a completely different price range, likely running from a single dac/amp, testing just one set of pads and neither of you will know if you'd like it or not.

Fiio is still hiding the FR and power specs for FT3 ...

@FiiO, tell me, please, is the FiiO K7 suitable as a source for these headphones? Will it have enough power when connected by balance?
Dear friend,

According to the feedback from the product manager, yes, the K7 could drive the FT3 in balanced mode.

Best regards

Dear friend,

We have arranged sending the FT3 to some reviewers.
And we will share the FR graph when we got it from the product manager.

Best regards

Ordered Today. I was born a sucker, and $300 is just "affordable" enough for me to be willing to take the risk. I have zero experience with their company and products, but looks like they do a lot of IEMs? Reading through their bullet points, it sounds like they ticked a lot of the technical checkboxes. How well it was implemented, and the actual user experience, only time will tell. I like the high impedance, hope they pair well with some tube setups.

FYI: at least at this time, promo code HBD40 works to take $40 off (as an existing, U.S. based Aliexpress customer anyhow)

They don't ship to Singapore and HBD40 only works for US shipping destination. 😅

Hello.
Recommended headphone impedance for K7 is "16~300Ω".
The impedance of FT3 is 350Ω.
If it is in balance mode, it will be possible to drive, but it may not be possible to demonstrate the ability of FT3?

The k7 is something like 600mw at 300ohms it will easily get everything out of the FT3.
