Yes but a BA based IEM won't have the bass slam that a hybrid IEM has
according to the graph, they seem to differ more in the mid-highs region
Indeed. Yet another demonstration that measurements cannot tell you what an audio product will actually sound like.

Which is why I have always treated frequency response graphs as a rough guide only, always listen and trust your ears not a graphIndeed. Yet another demonstration that measurements cannot tell you what an audio product will actually sound like.

Yes. This is what I have found too. Slam, texture...Yes but a BA based IEM won't have the bass slam that a hybrid IEM has

Is there a difference between the cable the FH9 is delivered with and the LC-4.4D/LC-2.5D? They are both made of the same materials but is it truly balanced with its swapable connectors?

Yes it is. Truly balanced
@Micha111 You may buy the FH9 cable separately

Guys anybody can compare the FH9 vs the KS ZS10 Pro? I know that FH9 is better just would be interested to know the main differences from somebody who compare these A/B.
To my ears the ZS10 Pro are cheap but very very good sounding iem and im only in like 10 hours with them, so they will still improve plus
using the stock cable. The FH9 would be the max I would go for in terms of price as I am using iem mostly outside.

If you buy the FH9 you will use them inside too ! Believe me ! Except if you have really high end headphones...Guys anybody can compare the FH9 vs the KS ZS10 Pro? I know that FH9 is better just would be interested to know the main differences from somebody who compare these A/B.

Yes, that's right.
Besides I have 2 other high end pairs in my current collection = Aure Audio Ringo (about 3000 euro, including the Plussound cable) and Élixir (idem).
However, if tomorrow I was asked to keep only one pair of iem, I think it would be these FH9.
Because they are the most complete sound wise, the least colored, and the most versatile (acoustic filters). And built to last (solid titanium).
Also and finally, for once, the stock cable is just perfect (feel and touch, ergonomics, manufacturing quality, sound... ), and with the interchangeable jacks system... Nothing to say.
It's almost hopeless...

KZ vs. FH9? This would be a very strange comparison. If you use IEMs only outside, staying with chi-fi is OK. Maybe I'd rather focus on TWS earphones.
There are All BA IEM like the IER-M9 that even outperform most hybrid in terms of bass.Yes but a BA based IEM won't have the bass slam that a hybrid IEM has
So that's not an technical limitations if BAs but rather in the nature of how they are implemented, especially in the Chifi world.
Got the new Fiio HS18 tips in today. Just first impressions for now; but seems like just what the FH9’s needed in my opinion. I think I’m getting a more coherent seal every time I put them in. Loes are always there while the mids and highs are just the way they should be.
