I confirm. I also cannot open the FW5 tab. It turns off immediately. V1.53, Samsung S53U.

!1. Download fiio control 3.10
2. We go in and try to update online.
3. We do a reset 2 times in a row (just in case, according to fiio recommendations).
4. Install the new version of fiio control.
Stay updated on FiiO at their sponsor profile on Head-Fi.

In the same way, I updated the firmware via Fiio Control version 3.10. To do this, it was necessary to delete version 3.18, install version 3.10, update the firmware of the headphones, delete version 3.10 and install 3.18 again. Why is the latest build of the App suddenly crashing trying to load FW5 inside it?
This means updating the FW is not possible.
I will sideload 3.10 (to coexist with 3.18) also and try that.
Thanks for testing. What phone do you have btw?Yea I did not read what the other guy posted very well or he is not Native English speaking.
I used an App to allow me to have both builds co-exist (in case I need to do so again in the future), I also had to do this before with SOUNDPEATS piss poor App.
Yeah, I don't care much either. My phone supports Aptx Adaptive so no worries.Sorry, had to redact my previous feedback but I did not realise it was not on 990k, it is still a stutter fess but I do not really care for LDAC (esp. shoehorned) on these earbuds.
