The following changes and improvements have been made in the new firmware:

1. Optimize battery management

2. Fixed an issue that the voice tone changes after the headset is actively connected when the aptX adaptive Bluetooth coding is connected to some mobile phones

3. Add custom EQ to support high-low-pass filter adjustment

4. Add a custom EQ name

Why is the latest build of the App suddenly crashing trying to load FW5 inside it?

This means updating the FW is not possible.

I will sideload 3.10 (to coexist with 3.18) also and try that.

Did the update, LDAC 24/96 (24/96 Hi-Res Bryan Adams Album) far more stable on Android now, sometimes the audio pauses after 1or 2 songs, manually pressing play resumes audio (sometime stutters on resume for a few secs but not all the time) but overall night and day from before.

Will keep and eye out if they power on (random if one side or both) when removed from case or still have issues.

In the same way, I updated the firmware via Fiio Control version 3.10. To do this, it was necessary to delete version 3.18, install version 3.10, update the firmware of the headphones, delete version 3.10 and install 3.18 again.

Why the manufacturer did this is a big mystery to me.
Why not test it yourself, and not pass this interesting and exciting experience on to users?

Yea I did not read what the other guy posted very well or he is not Native English speaking.

I used an App to allow me to have both builds co-exist (in case I need to do so again in the future), I also had to do this before with SOUNDPEATS piss poor App.

Ok, I tested the new firmware on my Zenfone 6 (Snapdragon 855) and a friend's Galaxy A52s.
By default it connects on LDAC with the 660Kbps profile (32bit 96KHz) and the output is more stable than last time I tried. 990Kbps is still a bit stuttery though.

Connection seems stable overall. I haven't tested any battery life changes.

The low-shelf/high-shelf eq options are nice to have.

Transparency mode and button customization are next @FiiO :)

Sorry, had to redact my previous feedback but I did not realise it was not on 990k, it is still a stutter fess but I do not really care for LDAC (esp. shoehorned) on these earbuds.
Yeah, I don't care much either. My phone supports Aptx Adaptive so no worries.

Also a LHDC dongle is coming out so that should cover the highest quality this TWS supports. With an OTG adapter and Neutron Player it should do the job just fine. LHDC was quite stable when I tried on a friend's Oneplus 9.
