Lucky!
I have no more than 3 minutes on the player FiiO M11 Plus LTD.
Then the sound fizzles and dies
Dear friend,

If you are using LDAC Bluetooth codec, please try to switch the playback quality to 'balanced audio and connection quality' in the M11 Plus LTD to check again?

Best regards

Yes, of course I did.
The difference is only in the duration of operation.
With a decrease in bitrate, the music time increases by 5-7 minutes.
The quality drops noticeably.
On the lowest option, there is no quality at all.
The question is - why do we need such a codec ???

Dear friend,

The M11 Plus LTD does not support Snapdragon Sound.

As mentioned in the FW5 Firmware update instruction:
If the device does not support Snapdragon Sound or the upgrade is unstable, it is suggested to revert the firmware

The current main problems with phones that do not support Snapdragon Sound are as follows:

(1) Do not support 990kbps bitrate;

(2) Stutter may occur when listening to music in LDAC adaptive mode;

(3) Muteness may occur when listening to music.

At this time, you can set the bitrate to 330kbps or 660kbps in the developer options to ensure the stability of audio playback. If there is still stutter or muteness, please hold the physical button with a raised dot on the earbud for about 8s, and then reset the two earbuds and reconnect them.

Best regards

No that is only with the way you shoehorned a half-baked attempt at LDAC support as it has been on been on Android phones a very long time now and they did not have Snapdragon Chipsets back then, you know this as many of your devices had LDAC before Snapdragon was even thing.

I am using your Neckband+FW3's right now.

I have used LDAC since at least 2016 and it worked fine at 24/96 (990k) when I listened to Hi-Res files locally or streaming.

Your earbuds do not have enough bandwidth that is why only one works fine and two act up, you are using the new Feature in Snapdragon chipsets that makes streams more efficient (I cannot remember the name for it).

The M11 Plus LTD does not support Snapdragon Sound.
Well, write it on your official website in the sections dedicated to FW-5 and all M-series players.
But, on your site it is written that the player SUPPORTS LDAC.

Your hints don't work. I tried them all for a long time, as soon as Fiio announced and released the firmware with LDAC.

Dear friend,

The M11 Plus LTD could support LDAC but not Snapdragon Sound.
Check out if your mobile phone supports Snapdragon Sound here:

If your mobile phone supports Snapdragon Sound, you could try the 990k LDAC.
And you can set the bitrate to 330kbps or 660kbps in the developer options to ensure the stability of audio playback when connecting to devices which does not support Snapdragon sound.

Best regards

Thay appear to have shoehorned it in using Snapdragon Sound new compression/fast stream feature that allows aptX Lossless to hit 1200k+ (I cannot remember the correct name) so it is a lack of bandwidth that is the issue on their earbuds.

Connect only one bud and it will work fine at 24/96 990k but try both buds and it will start to stutter.

If you have M11 Plus, why not use LHDC over LDAC? LHDC high quality seems to work just fine.
