Yes, I have had both, the MTW3 was great sounding but had launch bugs (may be fixed now) and they are too small for me.

The FW5 also can sound great but other times (possibly suites certain genre more than others) be not so good.

It is hard to say since U do not have both here now, but the MTW would have been keepers for me otherwise

thanks for the input

Man, I really wanted to like these. I don't. It should be required that only people with human ears can design iems. They don't fit and so can't get a decent seal and so sound like dog poop. Save yourself the trouble and get the Sony XM4. The end.

@FiiO I, too, lost the connection at the left earphone, rebooted and heard. In the control application, when you go to the audio tab, the slider jumps immediately from the L2 position to zero, but the feeling that the sound is shifted does not go away.
Yes! I also noticed this, I hope this is due to the new firmware 1.26, because as soon as I received the headphones, I did not listen to them, but immediately flashed them ...

Starting to make me glad I can't afford these quite yet. Going to wait till they are available from a Canadian retailer like Amazon with the issues people are having.

I have no software problem so far, besides the insensitive volume adjustment. It does not response to quick taps like Fiio's own BTR5, but I need to press, hold a little bit, and release, just right, so that the volume jumps 1 step. There are 32 steps in total. It's too annoying that I just max out the volume and control from my phone.

I guess it shows how hard it is to do the software for these TWS. I personally tolerate the software annoyance because (1) it is not too severe in my case, and (2) the sound quality is very good. Easily more satisfying than my AirPods Pro (first gen), even when the APP has all the DSP gizmos turned on.

Yes, I did a reset and updated the firmware, but the problem remained
Dear friend,

Sorry about that. Does the issue remain when connecting the FW5 to other deivces? And please also try other eartips? We apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime!

Best regards
