I am curous with the FT3 did they have lether pads on? Since I find the cloth pads to be quite bad sound wise in that they both streach the sound and also boost the midbass. I donno why they considered that as the defult pads.

If yes than damn, the FT5 is something to look out for.

Did they display ft5 specs? I worry about too low impedance like many planars. Too low impedance combined with low sensitivity can load amp and thus cause increased distortion.

Not really, especially for a planar. It’s actually fairly light.

Didn't feel heavy to me when I tried them and I am quite fussy. Pioneer SE Master1 is 460 gr so 4 grams heavier and they feel heavy after a while.
Again we need to try the FT5 for few hours and see if it feels heavy.

any idea about frequency response and bass response ? the cure accompanied in the images above is somewhat peaky in treble and doesn't have bass extension like dca expanse.
