I heard FT3 and FT5 at Canjam London. Much preferred the FT5. Didn't like the mid bass bloat of the FT3. Much more balanced and refined sound from the FT5.

I am curous with the FT3 did they have lether pads on? Since I find the cloth pads to be quite bad sound wise in that they both streach the sound and also boost the midbass. I donno why they considered that as the defult pads.

If yes than damn, the FT5 is something to look out for.

Did they display ft5 specs? I worry about too low impedance like many planars. Too low impedance combined with low sensitivity can load amp and thus cause increased distortion.

any idea about frequency response and bass response ? the cure accompanied in the images above is somewhat peaky in treble and doesn't have bass extension like dca expanse.
