I really want to try the CP13 but I have reservations about the condition of my existing cassettes. I really don't need a cassette player but somehow I'm drawn to try it. I will probably wait until the clear one becomes available if I do jump in.

It'll probably have to come out in May, because we're not happy with how it looks so far.

My cp13 was playing at 3.20 minutes, a track that was 3.30 minutes long. I turned the speed pot slightly to the right (from 1 to 4 o'clock)

Currently the playback speed is the same as spotify.

The production line can only be set within a range because it is a mass production line, and deviations within 20 HZ are considered acceptable.

But 20HZ deviation playing time is long, there will be a difference of ten or tens of seconds.
We are also considering whether to add a hole to adjust the speed of the band on the back cover, so that it is convenient for everyone to adjust!

It probably won’t work with the alignment of the logo, but if you could, put the hole in the middle of O in FiiO, or in the dot of one of the lower case i. Of course, that would require using your older logo… but for an analog nostalgia product, wouldn’t that make even more sense than the new logo?

As it involves some changes, it will take some time to evaluate, and we may not be able to change it for some time.

In the meantime, we'll try to see if we have the ability to adjust it all at more accurate values.

I bought a CP13 and when playing prerecorded commercial tapes the player sounds substantially better than my walkman wm-ex1. Metal tapes also sound awesome on this unit. I have enjoyed the player so much, I bought another one; kudos to FIIO for producing this. I hope that it has many buyers.

I havent listened to a cassette tape in ages.... but this was a fun looking device that I had to check out, even if I thought tapes were horrible back in the day. But, you could easily record stuff off the radio on my boombox or my parent's nakamichi player.
