Usually there will not have discount for our new products.

James, would you say that the LC3.5C is a substantial upgrade in sound over the stock cable? I’ll be using it with X5III and A5. The stock cable is very nice but I almost wish it didn’t have hooks so I could use it on my F5 after it gets demoted from the FH5.

You are better off with a better cable ( such as the ALO Audio Silver Litz) as it is soft and doesn't have ear hooks so it prevents the shallow fitting FH5 from popping out the ears.

ALO is WAY overpriced. They want $350 for a comparable cable. :dt880smile:

Yes, it is a better cable than the stock one.

So.. no comments from Fiio about whether the FH7 will address the shallow nozzles issue like on the FH5? I'm sure many of us here want to know this. Thanks!

we have not any decision about this right now, cause it is not a issue for everyone and the FH7 will comes with comply form tips and spinfit tips , I guess it will help some. BTW, the size and shape of the nozzles is very important to the

sound quality , and I am quite surprise cause in China and almost no one complained about this.

If the nozzle is short, you can almost always use long tips. But if the nozze is long - nothing can be done. As in the case of ibasso - I can wear them, but after a while I get tired. I hop Fiio wil not change nozzle length

Over half the users on this thread have mentioned it being an issue and I'm sure many are from the eastern part of the world. You can tell a huge difference in sound quality by pressing and holding the FH5. Maybe many average consumers aren't even aware of the difference. I've solved the problem myself using triple flange tips with foam inserts on the outer flange. I understand sound and nozzle size are related especially since y'all are going with changeable filters/nozzles this time which is a great idea. Maybe the issue could be fixed by making the shell of the iem slightly smaller so it can be inserted further into the ear. I've always found that the smaller iems seem to seal better. I've never had a fit issue with an iem that I couldn't solve but the average user here has been somewhat frustrated. Thank you for the reply and info! Looking forward to what Fiio comes up with!

You - solved. But what if too long? Knife? No good idea I think

That is true partially but you can always use a smaller tip as well. Same can be said about it being too short like you said. I was just pointing out that almost every review on the FH5 mentions the poor seal due to the shorter nozzles. It's not an issue for me anymore because the triple flanges work so well and provide better bass than even Comply foams. I use them on all my iems now but it did take a while to figure this out. Maybe the nozzles could have different lengths as well as sounds on the FH7 or simply make the iem shell slightly smaller. Both great ideas but I bet it's too late to implement this.
