Ah interesting, honestly I just gave up and went with BGVP's Type E01 clones because Fiios core is quite similar to the solid type E but has a softer lip and outer mushroom(not sure what the grippy area is supposed to be called) and that works well enough. Thanks for the links.

You're welcome. I was actually responding to the question in the post right above mine but I didn't quote it. My point really was that I don't think those Fiio tips are anything special. Those tips I linked aren't exactly like the Fiio tips but they are fairly similiar.
Personally, I'm using Spin Fit CP360's with the FD7's.

After struggling with the performance / comfort ratio of the IER Z1R for years, the FD7 are such an improvement for me.

Just curous what do you find better on the FD7 besides comfort?
I have an odd shaped left ear canal and I am able to get audio stream firing down it much easier due smaller size of FD7. So much better overall comfort with perhaps better overall spectrum. Midrange fuller.

Yes, I often have fit problem with iem but the fit is just great with FD7.
Maybe because of the small size.

I reckon midwife picked up the wrong forceps when delivering me 81 years ago. My ears are not a matching pair.

I have just bought a new FiiO FD7 set of IEM.

They came with sound tubes with black seal fitted to ear pieces. The spare plate with other tubes has the tubes with red seals which are obviously the small diameter ones.
The other tubes on the plate have green seals but I cannot see any difference in the bore diameter from the black seal tubes - this bore is around 3.98mm in both.
Can anyone help here?
What are the black and green tube bore sizes?
Dear friend,

1.Red/black sound tube : the outer diameter is 5.8mm, suit 4-5mm ear tips.
2.Green sound tube : the outer diameter is 4.0mm, suit 2.0-3.5mm ear tips.

Best regards

Referencing several sources on the internet reveals that the annual world wide production of pure beryllium is around 220 tons.
