I just got a set of the pro's delivered yesterday and have to commend you on the build quality. These are hands down one of the best quality metal enclosures I've ever seen, and are insanely comfortable.

I find them really lacking in the lower end though with a very week sub bass. Burning in now to see if it makes any difference, but I'd love to see a new model with a big boost in the bottom end for us bass heads, drum and bass and edm fans as I'm in love with everything else about these phones.

They do sound a little better hooked up to your e10k amp but still need a sprinkling more sub bass rumble

We've had the f9, weve now got the f9 Pro, now we just need the f9 Low

The last time I auditioned it the bass is think and of course there is sub bass. Hmmm

They kind of did. They’re called the FH5. Although they are definitely bigger, so they may not fit as nicely as the F9’s do.

Make sure to use the big bass tips!
(black/grey exterior and red inner tube)

If still not enough bass for your preferences you might enjoy the FH1 which is bassier/warmer relative to the F9 Series.

I ended up flipping them and getting some Oriveti New Primacys which are much more to my sound preference (and havr some killer bass). I also picked up some Campfire Comets - which despite only being a single BA and not being as gutsy on the bottom end I'm actually massively enjoying... more so than I should be really!

You can email FiiO support and ask. I was asked to pay using the Extra Shipping Cost listing on their AliExpress store. Two pairs cost me about $10, with most of that being in shipping.

I have a question, how much isolation do people get with these?

I have them and using the silicon tips, it seems that I get very little external sound attenuation.

Does one have to use the foam tips to get any significant attenuation?
