I turned off the FiiO E7 usb charging feature and now the battery has died and it is not charging. I go to turn it on and it immediatly turns off due to a dead battery!

Plug it into the USB and then start the charge.
Plug it into an USB port / adapter, poke the reset hole and wait for 10 minutes before trying to turn it on.
