I was looking for nice, cheap, portable headphone amps and i found the fiio e6. And i want to know what is the difference between the sound quality with the amp and without?

HI. You might get more responses/help in the portable amp forum (this is full-size headphone). I'm new to this too but it's my understanding that this amp will mostly boost the volume if your source is lacking in power to drive your particular 'phones. What headphones do you have in mind to use with this amp?
