I had the chance to chat with a representative and was told that it will be available and

I think this is new, I have been tracking the preorder news about E17.
 
IMO, this is a pretty good deal now, with a free BRAINWAVZ Beta earphone.

I have also ordered this, only a few days to wait now. I was really glad to see that it only cost $135 instead of the originally posted $150. Plus a free pair of IEMs. That's what I call a good deal.

According to Mike at Headphonia, pairing the e17 with the e9 robs it of it's "sweet, full mid-range" and suggests that its better off alone.

Expected date to ship to customers is MIDDLE OF FEB.
 
I seem to recall that MP4Nation cop quite a bit of flak from some Head-Fiers, while others have no problems with them. Caveat Emptor - I would prefer to wait until local E-bay sellers start stocking any new kit like this. In this case, after Headfonia Mike declared the amp section inferior to the E11, I'm not particularly tempted.
