Hi. I need a good amp that I can use at home with my 558's and iPhone. Which one is better? Can find both at same price.

It is good value. Indeed G3 is better but difficult to change tubes.

Schiit magni is the ss equivalent.

The HD558s are only 50-Ohm and the Fiio E17 is way more useful then the Bravo.
So I say get the E17.

Chances are the E17 headphone output impedance is way lower then the Bravos.
Which should help with audio detail on the HD558s.
 
The E17 comes with a fairly good built in DAC (WM8740) chip.
The Bravo has no DAC

Hd558 or pioneer SE a1000. Also depends on your taste and music preferences.

For around $15.30 to $17.80 you can buy a replacement cable for the HD558 that comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, makes it easier to use the HD558s with portables.
