Trying to decide which of these to get for the dt990 pro's that im thinking about getting. I don't really have too much money to spend and would prefer the cheapest best bet here. Would the fiio e17 be good to power the dt990's without say the eo9k combo that I've heard alot of people say they use? Is the T1 that much better then the fiio e17( is it worth the money) or should I just say screw it all and just get something like the hd558 for stuff like gaming and music on my computer without an amp just to save money? I want something that has good solid bass and soundstage for the above mentioned things.

Sennheiser HD558, $129.95
Asus Xonar DG (PCI) sound card, $26.80 and there is a $10 mail in rebate this month.
DG's basic headphone amplifier can easily drive the 50-Ohm HD558s.

Wanted to also know if the HD558's sound a lot better then the Siberia v2's or the HFI-580's that I used to have?

I would guess(?) the HD558s are better for music, then the Siberia's.
And as the HD558s are open, so better surround sound then the HFI-580.
The HFI-580 should offer more bass, then the HD558s.
But I have zero facts to back up my options (best guesses).
But you should ask here about the HFI-580s.
