Has anyone with early access to the E17 had chance to try the DAC with the PS3's optical output? If so, could you please give an overview?

You don't really need two threads on almost the same subject. E17 is not officially released yet and only a handful of samples are out for review at the moment, so it will be difficult to find a person that knows the answer.

Not problem to support PS3, but only support 2 channel PCM format. you need to set the digital output to LPCM/PCM output.
