FiiO does have an English-proficient copy editor/technical writer now, and thus their English documents have improved over the past year. However, he seems to have taken a hiatus recently and their English materials have taken a step backwards.

I have a Fiio X1 + E11k + soundmagic e80. I am confused whether I should use the line out or headphone out on Fiio X1 with the mentioned accessories. Line out is supposed to drive speakers and more powerful stereo systems. But I have seen posts where it is stated that Fiio X1 should be amped with e11 on line out. What's the difference between line out and headphone out in the context of amping? Is line out healthy for ears? Is it dangerous? Or is music cleaner or better via line out? Line out vs headphone out earphone? Can anybody shed light on this ...

Hi, Indrajit
You can collect the lineout port of X1 to the aux in port of E11K using the 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable which comes with E11K.
You can collect your headphone to
C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Tencent Files\2843354409\Image\C2C\@P1X`(5MIN41Z8`1BSXJ9LW.png
the headphone port of X1 directly. It is not suggest to collect the headphone when the output you choose is line out. The sound come from line out port is very loud and may damage the headphone if collecting to the headphone directly.
You can choose a better way to collect the product by trying to listen on your own. Hope you can enjoy our product!

Hello, folks,
I'd like to buy a portable amplifier for my Headphones Sennheiser Momentum 2. Someone suggested me the FiiO of this thread. The device that I use is the OnePlus3 and, to be honest, I haven't noticed any huge difference between my previous In-ear earphones (Apple) and the new one Headphones. My source is Spotify Premium with the Extreme quality and I tried with YouTube music like Vevo as well. Much to my regret, nothing spectacular :frowning2:
May you please advise me? Should I buy any amplifier? Which one?
Thanks.
