I have an e11 but i just thought that kilimanjaro was kind of a model name. I think most fiio amps have a mountain associated with it like the e18 is supposed to be kunlun. Other amps and amp/dac combos also have mountain/model names.
On mine, "Kilimanjaro" is printed on the back. On the "regular" E11s, that isn't printed. So, the only difference is visible appearance from what I've gathered so far. Didn't know if there were any actual performance differences.
Whether it has the model name 'kilimanjaro' or not, they are still the same E11. FiiO decided a while back to add mountain name to all their amps to better differentiate each model. Having no name just means it is produced before the new naming scheme begins. It doesn't change the design in any way.
