FiiO E10 on the market now

Feiao:  If you do add MHL, you'll sell me an E17 as well as the E10 I just bought.

No one's made a DAC for Android phones yet, but a lot of people on Android forums have been asking about this (including me).

If Fiio's the first company to market an Android-ready DAC, people are going to pay attention.

(I own a Galaxy S. Is that the kind of Samsung you're talking about?)

it means you can use your Android phone as an digital audio source, and E17 will become a portable DAC+AMP, so it can help you get the best sound quality from your Android phone. and bypass the build in DAC/AMP in your Andrroid phone.

OMG if you put E17 like this, I will buy it for sure. Nice!

James already announced that the MHL won't be added to the E17 because of the power it draws and the cost it will add to the E17 final price.
