No one's made a DAC for Android phones yet, but a lot of people on Android forums have been asking about this (including me).
 
If Fiio's the first company to market an Android-ready DAC, people are going to pay attention. 
 
(I own a Galaxy S. Is that the kind of Samsung you're talking about?)

James already announced that the MHL won't be added to the E17 because of the power it draws and the cost it will add to the E17 final price.

The only solution will need more than 300mA so it can only installed in a bigger case! We may design a new MHL DAC to meet the request, but it will not be a slim version

If E17 ships with MHL I will purchase one in a heartbeat, no hesitation. Perfect for FLAC quality-playback (CyanogenMod7).

lets just say I use an iPhone, can the e10 or/and e17 bypass its internal dac?
