Hello(sorry i this is the wrong forum area), I've been wanting to do a mATX PC with SLI, but I cannot do that with a sound card so I wanted to know what my best options are:
 
 
I have a titanium HD right now and I only use entertainment mode with stereo for gaming, and music; I don't like the sound of virtual very much.
 
Would a FiiO E17 and a FiiO E9K be a good option, if not better than the sound card since it's outside the case? Do the FiiOs have good DACS? 
 
Would a Creative Zxr be a lot better than the FiiO combination to?
 
I use a couple audio - technica headphones right now, but plan to get some other brands sennheiser and AKG) later.

Honestly I think your Titanium Sound Card would outperform the fiio stuff. It measures better than the fiio dac/amp.

I didn't like my fiio e10 much, my on board laptop sound outperformed it. That sound card you got is good, i think the fiio e17 would be a step down unless you wanted portable.
