Another couple of points:

Does the BTR7 rely on the screen being activated a bit too much? To use the +/- keys or the pause/play buttons I need to press once to activate the screen, and then again to use the buttons. I'd be happy to have direct access to those controls and not need to see the screen (it'll be in my pocket anyway). Maybe screen access should be limited to a tap on the power button? Edit- just seen that this is configurable - well done Fiio.

Also - and this applies to the BTR3K too, could the + button go to the next track and the - button go to the previous track please? Doesn't take any sense the other way round!

Dear friend,

1. If you mean the High shelf and Low shelf support in PEQ for BTR7, the engineers are assessing now.
2. Please check whether there is interference when the sound has interruption.
3. What's the problem with the batterty indicator?

Best regards
This has been mentioned multiple times. On both BTR7 display and in FiiO app. , it only goes in increments of 20 and is very inaccurate.

Just received a BTR7 as an upgrade to my (2nd) BTR3K, which I liked so much I bought another after the battery in my first one finally gave up the ghost.

Only about an hour in, but so far so excellent! Significantly better in every way to the BTR3K it replaces. Sounds lusher, more expansive, more detailed, better bass, wider, and (critically for me) nice and smooth. Love it. It's also great that I can realistically use my HD600 with it too, which I couldn't with the BTR3K.

I am one of those who couldn't care less about EQ and tweaks and all that stuff - I tend to prefer stuff that just works out of the box - which this pretty much does. Having said that I do have one request for Fiio to consider:

Could we have a crossfeed option please?

:smile_phones:
Dear friend,

We will report to the engineer for assessing first. And you could check whether the crossfeed option in the FiiO Music app could meet your need?

Best regards

Dear friend,

We have reported this feedback to the engineer before. And they are assessing whether they could improve about that.

Best regards

Dear friend,

We have reported this requirement to the engineer as well. If this requirement is high enough, they will consider and assess.

Best regards

Ummm probably not as I don’t really use the music app. It would have to be in the control app.

Loving the BTR7 - very impressed with it so far. It’s pushing what I thought was possible for such a small device.

I take back everything negative I said about the BTR7 in the past.

I dropped mine in the middle of the street while I was skating (I fell) and it was run over by a car unfortunately.

It still. Freaking. Works.

Absolute tank of a thing. I’ll be buying another just out of principle. Well done, FiiO 👍

I shattered the screen on my BTR5 and amazingly it still works perfectly too.

I think mine was ran over by a literal car, I’m shocked it still works tbh!

Question for members who have the leather case for the BTR7. Does it fit tighter than the standard one? I’m finding that the device slides out of the case too easily, especially when removing the headphone jack or plugging the USB-C in.

It’s loose on mine too. I ended up folding a business card in half and slipping it into the case to make it stay on.

Actually it's more loose.
