There's an annoying feature / bug in BTR15 I wish @FiiO could fix ASAP. When I turn off the device and put it for charging, it automatically powers back on. IIRC none of the earlier BTR drvices behaved this way. Can we please just have the BTR15 stay off when a charger is connected. TIA.

This doesn't happen on my BTR15. I have had instances though where I thought I already turned it off before plugging it in to charge, and ended up having it stay powered on and connected to my phone the whole time. I believe this was because I was used to the comparatively shorter press and hold time on the power button of my BTR5 to power off.

Are you 100% certain it's turned off before you plug it in?

Got my btr15 few days ago. I like it so far. Pretty small and convenient.

Anyway, today when i use it, it has low battery and i switch to pc mode while connected to my phone and playing music via tidal. I noticed that my unit turns warm so i stop using it that way. Is that normal?

What is the real life battery on the btr15?

Had my btr15 a couple of weeks. So far it’s been a nice upgrade from btr3k. Using mostly with FH3, but also experimenting with chi-fi iem collection.

Just got update to 2.2 firmware, looks to be a few fixes and extra settings. Unfortunately it seems to have broken saving custom eq’s for me on iOS app (1.2.7), hopefully will get a fix soon. Would be nice if custom eq name was reflected on btr15 settings menu. Also bal boost setting is not persisting.

Today while using the btr5, not btr15, I turned on LDAC mode on my samsung tablet, the tablet says streaming LDAC but the btr5 screen shows aptx.
Does the btr5 not support LDAC, I thought it did.

Yes it supports LDAC. If you have the FiiO Control app try and set it at LDAC. Or try forgetting the BT connection and then reconnecting it.

I have the BTR5, not an issue I have but you can try to hard reset the device and forget device on your tablet. Start fresh and give it another go also check if your app has any specific codec deselected while you're at it. Get back to us if that doesn't fix it instructions to hard reset are available online

Yes, the btr15 has a female voice saying "power on" &"power off" only audible through the earphones/headphones connected as there is no speaker on the device.

Ah. Anyway to turn them louder? I think i hear it few times but it is too quiet. I listen mostly on low gain under volume 20.

Hi @FiiO, I've had the BTR15 for about a week now and I'm enjoying the portability.

I use it connected to bluetooth to both my PC and iPhone 14 Pro. Music streaming over bluetooth works well. However the bluetooth sometimes disconnects during a phone call or, on my PC a teams call.

I am on firmware 2.2. Is this a known issue or do I have a faulty device?
