It's great, thanks for the information. Then there isn't really serious reason to use beta.
Yes, but it can be a problem when the device is off and does not reach 100%, causing overcharging all the time without stopping. The normal thing is when 2 hours have passed (more or less) the indicator shows the charge is complete, and from there proceed to remove the USB connection.

I was sure charging controller does it automatically.

Yes I know that 4.4 uses both DAC. But dual dac mode can be activated for 3'5 output with control app. It is an output with a parallel structure to get more power but I don't notice any change in my case.
Activating the dual dac mode is currently unavailable on the iOS app. An update is on the way soon, I hope.

I'm talking about this feature on the Android app and I don't notice any difference between activated and deactivated. My question is if it only works with high impedance headphones ?
Dear friend,

It works with low impedance headphones as well. But the difference will be more noticeable when using with high impedance headphones.

Best regards

I paired my laptop and the phone, but to be able to listen the audio from the laptop I need to re-pair it every time. When I'm listening to from the phone, if I walk away from the laptop it switches to "connecting" and pauses the audio from the phone. often disconnecting the phone and becoming unusable until I power cycle the BTR15.
it's a nightmare I don't seem to be able to undo.
Dear friend,

I tested via the iPad and my mobile phone. When I walked away from the iPad, the BTR15 will disconnect from the mobile phone just a few seconds, then it will reconnect automatically. Click the play button in the mobile phone and the music will come back.

Best regards

As explained my problem relates to choosing sources and continuity. when it feels like reconnecting to "the other device" it will stop playing the current source. And there seems to be no way of telling it to play from the second source other than re-pairing.

I only use the balanced output, volume usually around 20.
Hi! I got 6 hours 45 minutes with 3.5 high gain (dual DAC on) and at a volume of 38. Since I upgraded the amp to the new xmos the time was reduced to about 6 hours 5 minutes using the same configuration. I think the Btr15 is a device that could improve energy efficiency. I'm still in love with the btr5 2021. With the same settings (approximated) I get 7 hours 50 minutes and it's practically the same sound quality as the Btr15. Greetings!

Well, you could tell your first source to disconnect the device from Bluetooth (i.e. temporarily - I don’t mean unpairing it), so that only one source is actively connected to it at that time.

Dear Fiio,

I have a problem when connecting the BTR15 with AAC codec that is not available and the device ends up connecting with SBC, although in the control app the AAC codec is enabled.
I have tried it with 2 different smartphones (with android system) and the problem is there with both, which makes me think there's a software bug in the device.

Greetings & Thanks.
