Have seen random comparison here and there. Please comment your thoughts right here. It will be very helpful to many including myself who are looking for value for money headphones. Cheers and thanks :)

The HE-400s is a very recently released headphone. If you want to know how it compares to something else, best bet is the discussion thread for it: http://www.head-fi.org/t/766529/new-2015-hifiman-he400s

I'd have to agree. Not many reviews on just the he400S out, let alone comparisons to something fundamentally different, ie: the X2
