I'm sure there are amps that sound better than Envy or Envy AE stock, but I wish someone would do a TOTL comparison with an Envy with my tubes vs RO, AIC10, etc. All the comparison are always with stock tubes.

That would be interesting, indeed!

Are we talking directly from the headphone out here?
As DAC the Dave sounds great, it just looks horrible

Well guess we disagree here too
Dave --> envy most of the time but didn't like either

Thanks for sharing.

Not to deny the greatness of pairing Susvara with Envy - but agreed with the reviewer that Unveiled is so much better than OG on Envy in my opinion and fits better with 300B. Gets to the heart of the madness of Head-Fi that there isn't more talk of Unveiled having the best frequency response of any headphone available, except for maybe HD 600 or 650, depending on your preference and if you aren't stuck in the infantile stage of headphone audiophilia prioritizing sub-bass technicality and really should just move on to speakers. I'm interested in Immanis but until I demo it I will skeptically say it may only be sidegrade or only slight upgrade from HD 800, a headphone probably underrated due to the state of headphone amps circa 2009 or whatever. Envy + Unveiled = shortcut to getting out of the madness of the headphone hobby, widely available solution with 3 year warranties, expensive but effective

I would hesitantly agree, i wish it had more bass though. The headphone that has basically the same midrange in terms of richness, timbre, and just liquit honey golden vocals is the ZMF Aeolus. Of course it doesn't have the technical abilities of the Unveiled, but its midrange is very close, allthough it's a bit darker.

The Immanis slashes everything on the market except the Aperio or Shang Senior when it comes to technicalities. You might not like its tonality that much, it has quirks, but you can shape its sound a lot via the right (for you) chain.
In my opinion the HD800(S) is as outdated as a flagship can be. I dislike it. I respect it (owned it), but i think it got easily beaten when the TOTL planars entered the market (OG Susvara / HEKv2 etc).

The Envy is the master of tonality with a very high amount of power, not the most, but it's very powerful. You can shape its sound like (probably) not other amp, it's a tube rollers dream. It does scale a lot with better tubes. It looks fantastic, has a very low noisefloor (on low gain) and isn't as big as some other TOTL amps.

If he speaks English tell him to write in English. Most people dont speak polish. Nice wood though, its probably the only Envy wood I like better than my Piano Black AE.
browser translate button works great.

He speaks and writes in English, but I don't see any reason for him to run his Polish site in a foreign language. A little effort in translating the text to get an independent reviewer's opinion wouldn't hurt anyone. 😉

It's nice to read such opinions about your amplifier, especially when you own one of these 25, ultra exclusive "Anniversary" versions. -> The amplifier is eagerly bought and praised for both its appearance and sound, the price is considered justified, most buyers are delighted. No wonder that in the face of such success the Envy model was chosen to be an anniversary model - for its 25th anniversary Feliks Audio released 25 copies of the ultra exclusive "Anniversary" version at a price of EUR 15,500. These twenty-five special arcs are wood casings covered with piano varnish, applied by a company that takes care of real pianos, also 300B from Elrog and carefully selected only the best components.

Privately, during the tests, Piotr, sharing his conclusions with me, said that he was very positively surprised that Feliks Audio managed to do so much for so little. So let's all be happy. 🙂
