Dave + Sean jacobs or farad3 is another revelation. Others swear by the mscaler which I was unable to hear a big jump in SQ.

Now you have me interested in the Grimm :/.

*I need to stop reading these posts
It's funny that's what the fellow said as well. The Mscaler improved the Dave but to quite a small degree compared to that Grimm. YMMV as always!

Very curious about your thoughts. MOs with the Melz absolutely blew me away today with Grimm + Dave combo.

We both really liked the Quad Brimars as well so would be nice to see how they pair with the TMs as well.

Tried the Takatsuki 300bs as well. They are quite impressive as well. It wasn't for long enough to give specifics though.

Man, you must have had doing all these comparisions. Grimm is quite expensive. At least gives me something to strive for. I tried TMs with Quad Brimars. Excellent pairing.

Hasn't warmed up too long but man these TMs are special.

Right now I have them paired with 63' Melz 1578. This is the second time I got goosebumps from the TMs. Audio Euphoria alludes me. I get it maybe once a year or so.

Transparency increases compared to the MOs. They sound a bit more grandiose. I think the soundstage increases a bit all around. What I love is how the decay is handled. It softly dissolves and lasts much longer than expected. A bit more low end heft but stays balanced.

I hear no glaring issues with the tube. With the MOs I sometimes find them too bright depending on the tracks I play with my setup.

I think the best way to describe them is just "beautiful". The beauty of music is conveyed perfectly. These kill for piano and classical. :)

2 of us ended up paying an additional $188 to our good Uncle Sam based on the value of the TM!
Well that's quite a bargain. If I buy the TM, I'd end up paying additional €1,000 in my country.

For my fellow ”importers”, who do I contact to provide the information, FedEx?

Updated-

Not sure if Thomas is reading my mind but I received an email from him with directions on what to do.

FedEx will email me the form via docusign and once completed and paid, the package will be released.

Yeah, it took me a few phone calls to FedEx to get them to send the DocuSign form and get the TM released.

@Somatic got his a few days earlier than mine even with both shipments delayed in Indiana. They are not in the office on Sunday.

A week or so later you will get a bill from FrdEx
