I'm not really into genres that have lots of good vocals, and most of the stuff I was into isn't on my playlist anymore(slowly fleshing out collection since HDD crash) but here goes:

All their stuff:
Fiona Apple
Warren Zevon
Bob Dylan
Barenaked Ladies

Certain tracks:
don mclean('American Pie')
latyrx('Balcony Beach', '8 pt agenda')
Joao Gilberto(Jobim's 'Girl from Ipanema')
lauryn hill('killing me softly')
RATM('JFK' = a reading of Ginsberg's 'Had to be played on a jukebox')
Weezer('Butterfly', 'El Scorcho')
Cowboy Mouth(live 'let it go')
Violent Femmes(live 'kiss off')
Rahzel(assorted acappella instrumentation)

Let the flames commence

I don't listen to much with female voices, although in the last few days I discovered Stereolab and Claire Voyant on Emusic, and I especially like Claire Voyant's vocalist. But overall I'm not a big fan of female vocalists.

Otherwise, here goes:
-Steve Perry (solo, Journey)
-Ronan Harris (VNV Nation, Bruderschaft)
-Peter Spilles (Project Pitchfork)
-Tom Shears (Assemblage 23)
-Peter Murphy (solo, Bauhaus, Dalis Car)
-Eskil Simmonsson (Covenant)
-Tim Fockenbrock (Ravenous)

Liz Fraser- Cocteau Twins

Smokey Robinson

Tim Buckly

Tanita Tikerham

and lately Hope Sandoval off her Bararian FruitBread solo cd. A lot of Mazzy Star fans don't care for this cd, but I feel it's her best work yet.

last but not least... Sade.

Being a member of Team Sexy Vocals, my list consists only of members of the fairer sex... (shameless plug..)

Sarah Brightman
Sarah McLachlan
Sarah Whatmore (dunno why, just does..)
Andrea Corr
The girls from All Saints
The girls from Atomic Kitten
The girl from The Cardigans (can't remember her name for the life of me..
Bic Runga
Jessica Simpson
Britney (please don't hurt me...)
Mariah Carey (except when she tries that little bit too hard..)
Tina Cousins
Sophie Ellis-Bextor (It's that perfect English pronunciation that just makes me grow a big rubbery one...)

Just to name a few from the top of my head...

The only guy that stirs emotion is Andrea Bocelli
