Favorite Junk Food

Thai Iced Tea

In recent years I have discovered Thai Iced Tea. This is excellent and seriously underrated. I think if there was some kind of advertisement campaign people will love it. It does have somewhat of a complex flavor in subtle ways. If Starbucks adopted this and promoted it, it could become successful.

I do categorize this as junk food because it’s a sugary drink about the same calories as soda (possibly more) and it does contain a dairy product which in my opinion is on the junk food side.

Butterfingers, and fast-breaks
It's a darn shame Ferrero changed the recipe when they bought the brand. That almost toffee-like, stick in your teeth crunchy sweetness is gone, replaced with what tastes like a dollar store nutty bar.

For me personally, I when I fall off the deep end I order pizza and buffalo wings. Stuff that you eat with your hands just tastes better :)

My all time favorite junk food

I can’t believe I forgot to mention Kushikatsu. What is Kushikatsu? It’s deep fried meat stick. At first I was not interested because it looked like generic fried food.

I was wrong! I was blown away how amazing it was. This is hands down the greatest junk food of all time. It’s so good that I regard it on the level of serious gourmet food. It really is junk food on the highest level.

Here’s the bad news:

The bad news is that you have to get it in the city of Osaka, Japan. I’ve tried it in America and it was not the same. Osaka is the city that specializes in this great dish. It just can’t be properly replicated in America in my experience.

Why wasn't our body made to take these foods in as health foods? My mind does feel healthy after a dose, but not my body. lol

Home made Chocolate Chip cookies. It must be made with huge chunks of milk chocolate embedded like this, and only eat it when it's fresh out of the oven with milk chocolate oozing out like below when you split it. And a glass of milk on the side. These are so bad for you, but so so good....

I've not heard of this. Greek Souvlaki. It looks like Gryros wrap with french fries inside. I luv Greek wraps.

This place's Doner Kebab looks legit. Beyond legit actually, and it's surprising that it's in the US. The meat doesn't look like typical gyro meat, but better quality meat.

Not sure if it's considered 'junk food,' but Brazilian Steak houses are the best! I luv meat, and two meat cooking styles I like are Texas style BBQ and Brazilian BBQ. I just luv quality cooked meat.

^Since you mentioned Brazilian, a junk food popular item is deep fried chicken coxhina. Occasionally you can find them in the USA too in a Brazilian community. They’re not bad. I like them.

I’ve also been to the popular Brazilian buffets too both in Brazil and the USA. They’re basically the same in general and good.
