IKEA cafeteria

IKEA is a furniture store from Sweden that sells miscellaneous items to furnish your house/apartment. They have a pretty cool old style cafeteria.

Swedish style hotdog with Swedish pickled red cabbage and Swedish sweet mustard. This was very good hotdog and it was only $1.25. (USA)

Edit:

I returned to the IKEA cafeteria to have their famous Swedish meatballs. The IKEA meatballs is probably the most famous item in their cafeteria menu.

Also on the bottom right hand side there is a small serving of lingonberry jam which is one of the things that defines Swedish meatballs

California Pizza kitchen

This is a pizza chain and I have to admit I was very impressed! To the point that it’s probably my favorite pizza chain restaurant.

Interestingly the pizza texture feels similar to the New York style so the pizzas kind of remind me of the pizzas you see in New York but with modern alternative toppings. Contrary to popular belief, New York does have pizza places that break the rules and add less traditional toppings so a California pizza style can be New York like in a modern way.

Potato and chicken pizza:

Thai pizza (pizza with chicken and Thai ingredients)

Barbecue Chicken pizza:

Despite my positive experience I can’t guarantee if the textures will be the same since pizza places can be different in various other locations of this chain restaurant. It might depend on the management.
