Saw this pair of headset in Gizmodo's E3 coverage and thought it looked pretty awesome. Anyone here can advise on the audio quality of Fatal1ty headsets before I shell out $99 for this pair of gaming headset?

It's a no brainer for gaming.

I think he wants the mic to go with it though

Don't buy a sub-par headphone just because it has a mic on it.

I believe there is a new surround sound gaming headphone coming soon around $300 price range. Sorry to say can't remember what it was called, but it had like multiple drivers with vent ports opening up in various places of the ear enclosure to provide surround sound. And it was made specifically aimed at Gamers.

That Psyko thingee?

Eh, I'd still go with the tried and tested than something that looks cool and possibly doesn't sound good.

creative labs- i love their audio cards. their headsets fall apart though. usually have a smooth mid-bassy sound

from a pure audio standpoint "it" -- Fatal1ty Professional Series Gaming Headset Mk II
-- sounds like something to be avoided like the plague
