Not sure if this is the spot for my question as I'm not sure of the source of my issue.  
 
I'm currently running MOG on a Mac Mini directly to the Sennheiser HD 650s.
 
The basic problem is that I'm hearing some faint static in the background while listening to System of a Down Mesmerize/Hypnotize albums. I'm wondering if it's my lack of amping. The static is *just barely* there when there is a lot of instruments playing and it sounds a little like it only happens when there is a lot of e-guitar.
 
I won't have an amp or DAC anytime soon. Any tips?
 
ETA: Radio/Video is a good track to reproduce on if someone feels like checking the recording on their setup.

Definitely betting it's the noise of the Mac Mini in the line. Computers are noisy. 
 
Question: Does the volume of the static increase or decrease with the output volume? Or is it static (Constant). Sorry, couldn't resist.

Ill check tomorrow to see if static increases with volume. It feels like something isn't able to resolve all of the sounds that are recorded.

Static does increase with volume.  I'm using a Schiit Bifrost and Asgard now.  I'm going to find my disks to try it again... I'm betting it's the source rip.
