Mont Blanc is a portable amp. and you can charge it with any USB power, the charge speed depend on the output current of the charger. I don't think it is a direct competitor of O2,

different size, different features and different output power.

We are burn-ing  the first batch of Mont Blanc , it take 3 hours to charge it to full battery and them take about 15 hours to run off the battery with music play. after 3 times ,

we will assemble it to the final unit and test all the performance and functions, So far everything just go smooth and we may delivery all the pre order . and them the other

200pcs will be available in U.S at the end of Jan, 2013 and sold by Micca store.

The next batch will be start in Feb and the third batch will be available in March , for most customers, they may need to wait till March if they can buy one among the 1st, 2st

batch. because the total quantity before the third batch is only about 1000 units.

I'm glad things are going smoothly with the pre-production units. If the possibility of not all the pre-orders can be delivered occurs, would the $50 deposits go towards a mass-production unit? It was my understanding that the deposit was non-refundable, but also I didn't read that we could receive nothing for our deposit. I'd be fine with waiting a little longer, rather than miss out entirely and lose $50. Hopefully, this question is easy to answer but the situation won't happen.

Revlimit,
It appears from the other thread that everyone made their deposit. Luckily, Feiao's time table suggests that the production units aren't that far from being available to all, around feb-march. I would suggest seeing if the Micca store could send you an email when they have the Mont Blanc in stock?

I got the sense that all the pre-orders are going to be fulfilled before the first delivery goes to Micca. I wouldn't worry!
