Does anyone know of a good sound card for a laptop that comes in the ExpressCard/34/54 size? I was looking into the Echo Indigo DJ, but alas, that's a CardBus card and I don't have a CardBus port on my laptop. Any suggestions?

ExpressCard Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook SB0710EF - Sound Blaster - Your Music and Movies. Way Better.

I've had this card for a Dell laptop. It sucked. I sold it and put the money towards an ibasso Boa. Too bad, really, because what else do you do with that port and it would be really convenient.

I would recommend a USB DAC solution rather than the x-fi.

Yeah, the express slot isn't all that useful unless you need a really fast external SATA drive. -and they can go pretty damn fast.

I wasn't disappointed that the x-fi wasn't compatible with Macs. I owned the desktop version for my custom built PC and wasn't impressed with their baloney sound processors.
