So, searching for a new dap where sound is most important over streaming, Bluetooth etc. Now recently I got a Cowon D2 and loved the sound but it looked silly in my hands (small shovels); never the less I had to return it because it locked up (software issue I think).

So back to the drawing board so to speak.

Now most of you are experts here, unlike myself and I would be very interested in your personal feedback on any of these DAP.

It’s great to be buying a new DAP but terrible too as you don’t want to make a bad call if you follow me.

If you like streaming you might want to choose AK SR15 because the processing power should be one of the best among the three. The user interface is relatively stable over the years. Another model that can be considered without burning a hole in your pocket is FiiO M9.

No necessary. At the price range they perform pretty well. I just wish to provide some cheaper alternatives for OP. Subjective
