Hey there! Found something really interesting - Sony EX700 for an unbelievable price! Check out the links please and let me know if you think that they are fakes (which I think they are). The seller has sold earlier some of these for like 2-5 $.

Lol... I suppose I'll take the bait. Who in the right mind would sell overpriced Sony earphones for a couple of dollars? I also like the delightful colour choices of red and blue, which Sony doesn't even manufacture.

That said, fake EX700's might not be too bad in comparison to the real thing.

I actually have a set of those fake EX700s on hand (in blue). I think they're worth $10 or so SQ-wise. Warm and muddy but they have decent 3D soundstaging. Treble is rolled off pretty badly and build quality is a little rough, but they haven't fallen apart yet. J-corded.

They are fake for me. Try search "Sony EX700LP" on ebay, which is the official NA model number.

I remember seeing fake EX700's on ebay months ago, I was going to buy a pair for the hell of it. The seller admitted to them being fakes, but are very close to the real thing in sound... Purportedly...

It would not hurt to try em out for the price. How much worse in SQ could they be compared to the original.

I think the 'OEM' in itself is a giveaway. That pretty much admits they are fake.
