sent them request, they really want to better every request they get, was really noticable, talking to them.

Even youtube they already would like to implement, but the issue is mainly approvals, otherwise it would have been implemented already (but is certainly not of the table).

I did saw the new app interface which was very nice for the play model for now, and that will be available for all units as well in the future

Same here, pretty disappointing tbh.
This is a prototype, guys. Product release is scheduled to end of this year. They might implement some other features like upsampling in the meantime, especially if this is the feedback they receive. EverSolo is quite good at listening to customer feedback. It is good to let some positivity shine through the clouds every now and then! ;)

I mean what will the T8 bring to the table if you alreday have the DMP A6?
Where does it sit in their range I wonder.

I don't think it adds anything. It's for people like me who won't buy an A6 because they already have a DAC.
Yeah I have the A6 and its great, but I use it with the Qutest DAC.

This device has been making the rounds on some of the 2-channel reviewers I follow, and frankly, it's getting raves. As someone who dislikes what Audirvana has become (also not exactly excited to dive into the Roon ecosystem either), and mostly listens to local FLAC files with some Tidal streaming, the A6 feels like it was made for me. Which is probably why I'm posting a hype thread like this for the first time. Also a reason why I'm posting this? It's currently sold out on Amazon US. :confounded:

SPF port for fiber, isolated USB, isolated I2S, and a linear power supply are enough to make the T8 a top tier network streamer. Eversolo's built-in streaming capabilities are icing on the cake. This is going to be a hit and I can't wait to get one!!!!

Decent upscaling needs processing power (and complex software) => added cost. If you want upscaling try HQPlayer, it's very, very good.

Or a tt2 or dave with mscaler if you want good upscaling, that’s what I did, perfect upscaling, altough with a price (I know)

I have Chord MScaler and Chord Qutest with DMP A6 and it is high quality upsampling.
