Eversolo DMP-A6 Network Streamer/DAC

what are you using for a dlna server?
Serviio. I can connect to it already for years, from Vlc, ifi zen stream, my astell &Kern music player, two tv’s in the house etc… in the zen stream I just open the app and open the dlna folder and play, and walk away sort of, even close the ifi app itself.

The eversolo shows me some weird screenshots? when I go to music connect? In the app. At least it does not show me dlna servers on the network?

If they are trying to explain me I have to cast, then I call that no dlna support to be honest. I hope I am doing something wrong.

so you're opening serviio and you cannot see the dmp-a6 as a endpoint, correct? according to the web site, the dmp-a6 definitely supports being an endpoint for a dlna server.

I meant the other way around. Why would I do it through the web portal of serviio. My tv just connect through a browser to files shared from my serviio server. The same as astell and kern music browser, or android usb player
pro etc…

When I do that with the eversolo app, and open dlna, I get to see 4 screenshots? Instead of opening my shared files from my serviio dlna server?

You see it properly. Browsing of DLNA server content is not implemented neither in the Eversolo Controller app nor in the DMP-A6 GUI. Perhaps you could propose/request this use case to Eversolo for implementation.

What you can do is to use another controller app, like BubbleUPnP on Android or Mconnect on iPhone. With those ones you can browse your server content and stream it to the Eversolo as DLNA endpoint.

Where would you request that? Because. For as I know almost every brand supports it? Browsing a dnla server?

I'm searching for ways how to turn DMP-A6 to a Chromecast device. I found an app called CastReceiver and it works, but it's a (5 minutes only) trial installation and there's no way how to buy the app.

Is there any other app which you could recommend..?

(See screenshot with a video played from youtube (PC). However, audio streaming would be fully enough for me...)
