Further to learning - a quick investigation would reveal that Lenbrook purchased an IP package which included MQA. The plum in the package was something other than MQA - SCL6?
This makes me think more of a financial sweep, buying patents for cents on the $ trying to see what can still be squeezed for revenue. Not like an investor who wants to revive MQA for the music lover. "Your product is sh!t, but the wrapper is good." Scavengers instead of idealists?
If Eversolo could just give us the digital section of the A8 (with a linear power supply instead of switching), I think that would be the ideal product for me.
Quick question: Does the A6 have tonal control of any kind? I know it does not have DSP, but I'm unsure if it offers some more basic way to adjust the tonality?
Is anyone using this streamer successfully with a Linux SMB share? I have a very large database and maintaining a large SMB Share has been problematic on every streamer I've tried in the past, so I've been avoiding them. I would be very interested in this streamer is the SMB share works well.
Thanks just updated mine, I do like that they are continuing to support the A6, I was worried that would stop once the A8 came out, looking forward to the addition of PEQ, it's like the one extra thing I wanted.
